12.24 million jobs were released nationwide in the first half of this year
At a series of press conferences themed on "High-Quality Completion of the 14th Five-Year Plan" in the first half of this year, officials from the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security stated that 12.24 million jobs were released nationwide in the first half of this year. For the first time this year, my country has issued an implementation plan for tapping job potential and expanding capacity. Direct subsidies will be promoted for faster processing, and policies such as job retention refunds, social security subsidies, and training subsidies will be implemented. Subsidies will be launched for social organizations to recruit graduates and expand employment, loan quotas for job retention and expansion will be increased, and the scope of social security subsidies will be expanded to support employment and entrepreneurship. Local governments are also actively expanding areas for tapping potential, focusing on upgrading traditional industries to expand employment and cultivating emerging industries to create new opportunities. A total of 12.24 million jobs were released in the first half of this year. Of these, over 7.6 million jobs were created through work-for-relief programs and major projects, and over 100,000 new jobs were created in fields such as artificial intelligence and the winter sports economy.
