Chinese brokerage stocks strengthened, with Zhongzhou Securities (01375.HK) closing up 47%; biopharmaceutical concepts rebounded sharply, with WuXi AppTec (02359.HK) closing up 10%; chip, insurance, cryptocurrency and other concepts led the gains.
