Warner Bros. Discovery signs new distribution agreement with Charter

Asia Tech Wire (Sep 13) -- Warner Bros. Discovery and Charter, the largest pay-TV distributor in the U.S., announced Thursday the early renewal of a new distribution agreement.

The new multi-year agreement will increase the total fees Charter pays to carry Warner Discovery channels such as CNN, Food Network and TBS.

A large portion of Charter's 13.3 million video subscribers will receive Max and Discovery+ streaming services for free.
