Asia Tech Wire (Oct 14) -- Lebanon will import cell phones and other electronic products from China, according to Chinese state-owned media CGTN.

This comes after a spate of explosions of communication equipment in many parts of Lebanon, causing a large number of casualties.

As a result of this impact, Ali Mahmoud Al Abdallah, chairman of the Lebanese Chinese Business Association, said in an interview that Lebanon and many other countries will reduce imports of technological products from the West and increase imports of electronic products, including cell phones, from China.
