Asian Tech Press (Jan 17) -- WeRide, an L4 self-driving technology company, announced that it is the first company to exceed 10 million kilometers of self-driving mileage on public roads, including more than 2.5 million kilometers of fully unmanned mileage, officially opening a new era of fully unmanned driving and commercialization on the ground.

WeRide's 10 million kilometers were accumulated from more than four years of continuous testing and operation of its self-driving fleet of over 300 vehicles in China and the U.S. The fleet includes different models of self-driving cabs, driverless minibusses and driverless cargo vehicles and is laid out in cities such as Guangzhou, Zhengzhou, Nanjing, Wuhan, Anqing in China and San Jose in the U.S.
