Asian Tech Press (Mar. 24) -- Weibo Corp. (WB.US; 9898.HK), China’s version of Twitter, has been added to the U.S. List for Potential Forced Delisting.

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission placed Weibo Corporation on its "pre-delisting list" on Wednesday. This makes Weibo the sixth Chinese company on the list.

Weibo has until April 13 to provide evidence to the SEC that it is not eligible for delisting. If it fails to do so, it will be placed on the "definitive delisting list".

Weibo's U.S.-listed shares fell nearly 10 percent in New York on Wednesday, but then rebounded to close the day down just 0.6 percent. The company's Hong Kong shares were also down slightly in early trading Thursday.
