Asia Tech Wire (May 27) -- Chinese smartphone maker vivo will soon launch a Blue Ocean battery with a new generation of silicon-carbon anode material, the latest news said.
According to sources from the supply chain, the new battery has an energy density that is about 20% higher than that of a regular graphite battery and about 16% higher than that of an extreme graphite battery.
The battery will power the upcoming vivo S19 series of smartphones, supplied by Chinese battery giant CATL.
