Vivo reveals establishing chip R & D headquarter in Shanghai

Pictures of Vivo's Shanghai R&D center and chip lab have been revealed. According to sources, Vivo's research and development chip will debut in its next flagship, which is likely to be the Vivo X70 series.

Vivo has established its R&D center in Shanghai and set up several chip R&D-related departments to carry out chip design, R&D, and experiments.

Vivo has now laid out its R&D network in 10 cities worldwide. It integrates global talent resources and studies frontier technology fields, including 5G, AI, imaging, software, and hardware. Vivo has been laying out imaging R&D centers around the world since 2017 to specialize in cell phone imaging. Its R&D staff also exceeds 700 people, making continuous software and hardware development breakthroughs, arithmetic enhancement, and frontier technology research.
