Asian Tech Press (Nov 16) -- The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) on Wednesday approved a second Starship launch by Elon Musk's space exploration company SpaceX.

The FAA said it had issued a license to SpaceX for the second launch of the company's Starship super-heavy vehicle, concluding that "SpaceX met all safety, environmental, policy and financial responsibility requirements."

SpaceX also announced that it plans to conduct a second flight test of Starship on Friday, with the launch window beginning at 7 a.m. CT and lasting two hours.

Previously, Starship made its first flight test on April 20. But it failed when the rocket exploded in mid-air a few minutes after successful ignition and liftoff.
