TSMC is actively working on overseas deployments. After the decision to build factories in the United States and Japan, rumors continue to circulate that TSMC may evaluate the establishment of factories in Germany, the Czech Republic, Singapore and Italy.

TSMC chairman Mark Liu gave an explanation for the company's overseas layout at the shareholders' meeting on Wednesday.

Liu said that TSMC continues to evaluate possible solutions to build factories in various locations, taking customer demand as the main consideration in building overseas factories, and TSMC has started building factories in the United States and Japan.

However, he added, as European customers are relatively small, the assessment is continuing, and there is no specific plan.
