Asian Tech Press (Dec 24) -- TSMC plans to begin the commercial production of its 3nm process-based chips in the fourth quarter of 2022, according to industry sources.

Apple is expected to release its first devices with TSMC-made 3nm chips in 2023, including Macs with M3 chips and iPhone 15 models with A17 chips. Using a more advanced 3nm process will improve performance and power efficiency, which will enable faster speeds and longer battery life on future Macs and iPhones.
