TSMC's senior vice president Mr. Y.P. Chin today revealed the company's expansion plans. He said TSMC's s southern Taiwan plant Fab 18 phases 5-8 will be responsible for the N3 process; Fab 18 phase 4 will be used for N5 process expansion.

In addition, TSMC also plans to establish a new Fab 20 in Hsinchu for N2 process production.
