Asian Tech Press (Sep 13) -- Thailand's central bank still does not support cryptocurrency as payment, according to a Reuters report republished by the Bangkok Post on Monday.

The report said that Sethaput Suthiwartnarueput, Governor of the Bank of Thailand (BOT), the country's central bank, told a business seminar on Monday that digital banking would help solve the problem of access to credit for small businesses.

However, Sethaput said the BOT still does not support cryptocurrencies as a payment method.
