Asian Tech Press (Feb 28) -- Tencent (0700.HK) will acquire 1C Entertainment, the developer of video game series King's Bounty, with a deal expected to close in late November.

1C Entertainment is a game company based in Warsaw, Poland, with more than 100 games in its portfolio, including turn-based fantasy video game King's Bounty, real-time tactics video game franchise Men of War and real-time strategy video game Ancestors Legacy.

Following the acquisition, 1C Entertainment and its subsidiaries will change their names within 6 months of the completion of the acquisition.
