Asian Tech Press (OCT 12) -- According to media reports, the Swedish Administrative Court issued an announcement allowing Huawei to appeal the ban on its products entering the country's 5G network.

On June 22 this year, the Swedish Administrative Court in Stockholm ruled that the Huawei 5G ban was upheld, making Sweden the second European country after the UK and the first in the EU to explicitly ban Huawei's participation in almost all network infrastructure required for 5G networks.

Of note is that the Sweden ban also requires that equipment already installed needs to be removed by January 1, 2025.

Huawei responded after the verdict was announced, respecting the judgment but regretting it, and said it was studying further legal remedies to defend its rights. on October 1, Huawei said it would appeal the ban.
