Asia Tech Wire (June 17) -- Suzuki Motor announced on Monday that it will partner with Japanese self-driving startup Tier IV to develop autonomous driving technology.

The Japanese automaker said in a statement that it has entered into a capital and business alliance with Tier IV to work on accelerating the development and commercialization of self-driving technology.

According to Nikkei, Tier IV will develop a self-driving prototype using Suzuki cars on the market.
