Nearly 60 percent of European companies are planning to expand their operations in China this year, up almost 10 percentage points from 51 percent in last year's survey, according to an annual survey released Tuesday by the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China.

Nearly half of the surveyed companies said their profit margins in China were higher than the global average, a much higher percentage than the 38 percent in last year's survey.
The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China stated that "the resilience of the Chinese market has provided much-needed shelter for European companies amid the Covid-19 pandemic crisis". (Sina Finance)
