Asian Tech Press (May 27) -- Sony said at an investor meeting this week that it will no longer make new first-party games for its PlayStation 4 (PS4) consoles by 2025.
The Japanese gaming giant admitted that PS5 sales have not met expectations, but still believed that players on the PS5 platform exceed the PS4 in terms of retention rate, gameplay hours and haming payment.
Sony predicted that the PS5 sales will overtake the PS4 in 2024.
