Asia Tech Wire (Aug 1) -- Arm Holdings plc (NASDAQ: ARM), the British chipmaker owned by Japan's SoftBank Group, reported better-than-expected revenue for its fiscal first quarter on Wednesday.
According to its earnings results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2025, Arm reported revenue of $939 million for the quarter, slightly higher than analysts' expectations of $905.4 million.
The company expects fiscal second-quarter revenue of $780 million to $830 million, versus analysts' expectations of $806.2 million.
Arm left its full-year revenue estimate unchanged at $3.80 billion to $4.10 billion, compared to analysts' expectations of $4 billion.
