Asian Tech Press (Nov 10) -- South Korea's SK Telecom released its third-quarter results and showed its Q3 revenue was 4.97 trillion won (about $4.205 billion), up from 4.73 trillion won in the same period last year, up 5% year-on-year. Higher than the 4.8 trillion won in the previous quarter, up 3.1% quarter-on-quarter.

Net profit was 736.5 billion won, much higher than the 391.8 billion won in the same quarter last year, up 88% year-on-year, but less than the 795.7 billion won in the previous quarter and down 7.4% quarter-on-quarter.

SK Telecom disclosed in its earnings report that 5G subscribers have reached 8.65 million by the end of the third quarter, up nearly 950,000 from the end of the second quarter.
