Asia Tech Wire (May 28) -- A U.S. subsidiary of the world's fifth-largest maker of electric car batteries, SK on Co. has taken a stake in a South Korean robotics startup.
Yuil Robotics Co. on Tuesday announced the sale of about 1.5 million new shares for 36.7 billion won ($26.7 million) to SK Battery America, a subsidiary of SK on.
The startup said it will use the funds to expand sales of electric vehicle batteries and robotic automation systems.
