Asia Tech Wire (Aug 13) -- South Korea's SK hynix has raised the prices of its DDR5 memory products by 15% to 20%, according to the latest market news.
Earlier, the industry rumored that DDR5 prices have room to rise by 10% to 20% before the end of this year.
Citing supply chain sources, a Chinese media outlet reported Tuesday that the DDR5 price hikes are mainly due to a squeeze by HBM3/3E capacity.
