SenseTime founder debuts on Forbes' list of Hong Kong's 50 rchest people

Asian Tech Press (Feb 24) -- The founder of AI company SenseTime appeared for the first time on Forbes' list of Hong Kong's 50 richest people.

Forbes released its list of "2022 China Hong Kong's 50 Richest" on Wednesday, with CK Hutchison Holdings founder Li Ka-shing at the top and SenseTime founder Tang Xiao'ou making his debut on the list.

SenseTime, the largest artificial intelligence software provider in Asia, went public in January, and Tang then made the Forbes list at No. 16 with a $6 billion fortune.

In terms of the technology sector, the list also included Alibaba co-founder Joseph Tsai, who ranked ninth with a net worth of $9.1 billion, and Tencent President Martin Lau, who ranked 31st with $3 billion.
