Samsung Electronics is investing in 12 national R&D projects covering advanced artificial intelligence, next-generation encryption systems, 5G and 6G, robotics, next-generation display technology, and semiconductor devices and processes.

From 2013 to date, Samsung Electronics has invested in 682 national-level R&D projects, including 229 basic science projects, 224 material engineering projects, and 229 IoT-related projects, with a cumulative investment of 88.65 billion won.
