Asian Tech Press (Jan 19) -- Data shows that in the third quarter of 2021, TSMC's share of the global foundry market was 53.1%, while Samsung Electronics ranked second at 17.1%, less than a third of TSMC's figure.

According to media reports, Samsung Electronics aims to overtake TSMC in 2030 to become the world's largest foundry. Samsung Electronics has recently revealed that they have more than 100 foundry customers worldwide.
