Asian Tech Press (Oct 12) -- Samsung Electronics Co Ltd (005930: Korea SE) announced Tuesday that it has begun mass production of 14 nm DRAM based on extreme ultraviolet (EUV) technology.

According to the announcement, Samsung's 14nm DDR5 DRAM will enable a previously unprecedented speed of up to 7.2Gbps, more than twice as fast as DDR4's 3.2Gbps.
