Asian Tech Press (Mar. 10) -- Samsung hinted that Apple's green iPhone 13 was inspired by its Galaxy S22 Ultra phone after Apple's first product event of the year.

The South Korean smartphone maker's U.S. rival Apple introduced alpine green iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max and green iPhone 13, iPhone 13 minion Tuesday.

After the launch of Apple's green iPhones, Samsung tweeted,"Ultra? Green? We're feeling sincerely flattered today."

It seems that Samsung felt that both Apple's M1 Ultra naming and the new green iPhones were inspired by their Galaxy S22 Ultra, which is also available in a green.

But it's worth noting that this was not the first time Apple offered an iPhone in green, as iPhone 11 already had a green option.

Samsung's tweet was also joked by other netizens that Apple launched a green iMac in 1998, and it was Samsung that copied Apple's color.

Not long ago, Samsung launched its flagship Galaxy S22 series, of which the Galaxy S22 Ultra is the highest performance version, using Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip and Android 12 with Samsung's own One UI 4.1 interface, supporting the S Pen Stylus.
