Asia Tech Wire (July 29) -- Swiss drugmaker Roche will launch an anti-obesity drug as early as 2028, according to the Financial Times.
The report quoted Roche's chief executive Thomas Schinecker as saying that the company plans to fast-track the development of anti-obesity drugs.
Schinecker revealed that Roche's first obesity drugs will be on the market "significantly faster than people are expecting," possibly in 2028.
