Asia Tech Wire (Oct 23) -- Qualcomm on Tuesday announced a multi-year technology partnership with Google aimed at driving digital transformation in the automotive industry.

The collaboration will see the co-development of a new standardized reference platform based around the Snapdragon digital chassis, the Android automotive operating system and Google's cloud technologies.

The platform will utilize generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) technology to provide innovative solutions for automotive cockpits.
