Protocol: American Tech companies should work with China

An American tech media Protocol, recently reported that American Tech companies should work more closely with China.

Protocol, backed by backed by Politico publisher Robert Allbritton, conducted its first Tech Employee Survey, a survey involving the U.S. tech professionals. It asks a large range of issues, including how to view the role of the U.S. tech industry, cooperation with China, AI, etc.

1578 American tech employees are surveyed, from senior executives to associates. As for U.S. restrictions on Chinese tech firms, respondent’s attitudes are shown in the following picture.

According to the survey, 57% of respondents believe that the U.S. has gone too far in its restrictions on Chinese technology companies, while 16% don’t agree it.

The survey shows 58% believe that a cold with China would bring serious damage to U.S. tech companies. But 19% are against this opinion.
