Asia Tech Wire (Nov 8) -- Nvidia on Thursday announced the appointment of Ellen Ochoa to the company's board of directors.

Ochoa, 66, was the former director of NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston, and the first Latina astronaut in space.

With Ochoa's addition, Nvidia's board expands to 13 members.
