Asian Tech Press (Dec 8) -- Chinese gaming giant NetEase Inc. announced on Wednesday that it will close and terminate the operation of its mobile game Genesis Masterwork Apocalypse in February 2022.

The game's operation team issued a shutdown announcement saying that due to the adjustment of the game's development and operation strategy, the mobile game Genesis Masterwork Apocalypse will terminate its operation at 3 p.m. on Feb. 14, 2022.

The announcement said that at 2pm on Wednesday, the download portal on all platforms will be closed, and game recharge and new user registration will be stopped. And at 3:00 pm on February 14, 2022, the company will formally cease game operations and close the game server.

After the game server is closed, all the account data and character data in the game will be emptied.
