Asia Tech Wire (June 3) -- Chinese electric car maker Hozon Auto, commonly known as Neta Auto, has started mass production at its Indonesian plant.

Neta Auto said that on May 31, 2024, Indonesian EV maker PTNETA Auto officially started localized production in the form of completely knocked down (CKD).

PT Handal Indonesia Motor (HIM) in Bekasi, West Java, performed the initial assembly of Neta Auto's latest model, the NETA V-II.
