Asia Tech Wire (July 31) -- Microsoft Corp. on Tuesday reported a 22% increase in net profit to $88.1 billion for fiscal year 2024.

The U.S. tech giant's latest earnings report showed that it realized revenue of $64.7 billion in the fourth quarter of FY2024, up 15% year-on-year, with an operating profit of $27.9 billion, up 15% year-on-year, and a net profit of $22 billion, up 10% year-on-year.

For the full year of FY2024, Microsoft reported revenue of $245.1 billion, up 16% year-over-year; operating profit of $109.4 billion, up 24% year-over-year; and net profit of $88.1 billion, up 22% year-over-year.
