Asian Tech Press (Nov 26) -- Taiwanese semiconductor manufacturer United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) announced that it entered into a global agreement with U.S's Micron Technology. Each party will withdraw its lawsuit against the other and UMC will pay Micron a confidential lump sum settlement. Both parties will create business opportunities together.
