Asia Tech Wire (Sep 26) -- Facebook parent company Meta Platforms is spending big money to invite celebrities to power its latest AI product.
Meta announced a deal Wednesday with actors Awkwafina, John Cena, Judi Dench, Kristen Bell and Keegan-Michael Key, allowing it to use their voices in its new AI assistant.
Citing people familiar with the matter, the Wall Street Journal said Meta will pay the stars millions of dollars for the right to use their likenesses.
