Lifan unveiled its new name Lifan Technology earlier today, and introduced the plan to mass-produce Geely's first battery swapping electric vehicle in Chongqing plant.

The brand new EV is a B-class MPV model , which features a new generation of under-chassis battery swapping technology that can achieve a power change in 60 seconds.

The new EV also comes with a patented locking technology that can achieve all-directional restraint and vibration loosening prevention.

The existing production line of Lifan's Chongqing plant will be upgraded soon to accommodate the production of the new EV.
