Recently, IQIYI officially sued Bilibili for infringing the right to network dissemination of information.

According to Tianyancha, a platform providing Chinese enterprise information, Beijing IQIYI Science & Technology Co. (IQIYI), Ltd., a Chinese online video platform, makes public the notice of hearing.

The case is about the infringement upon the right to network dissemination of information of video works, with Shanghai Hode Information Technology Co., Ltd., which is known as “Bilibili”, a Chinese video sharing website. Both sides are Chinese famous video platform, listed on Nasdaq, with a large number of users in Asia.

The former is the plaintiff, and the latter is defendant, and the case is handled by the Beijing Internet Court. And the trial date is March 23, 2021.
