American tech giantInternational Business Machines (IBM) Corp. (NYSE: IBM) unveiled the world's first 2 nanometer (nm) nanosheet technology on its news website.

According to the report, compared with the mainstream 7-nanometer chips currently used in many notebook computers and cell phones, 2-nanometer chips are 45% faster in computing and 75% more energy efficient.
