Asia Tech Wire (July 1) -- South Korean automaker Hyundai Motor plans to set up a software research center in Silicon Valley.
The center, which is due to begin operations next year, will focus on research and development of advanced technologies for automotive applications in the next five to 10 years.
By setting up the research center in Silicon Valley, Hyundai hopes to attract more tech talent and collaborate with local tech firms to promote innovation in the field of smart mobility.
