Asia Tech Wire (July 23) -- Hyundai Motor Co. announced Monday that it has established the Hyundai Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Alliance with six local private charging operators in Indonesia.

Hyundai's electric car users can use the charging facilities of the other companies in the alliance through the "myHyundai" app without having to sign up for a separate membership or pay a fee.

The Korean automaker is the first company in Indonesia to launch a roaming scheme that allows the use of multiple charging facilities from different operators through one app.
