It’s said Chinese tech giant Huawei and GAC AION, GAC’ new energy vehicle company subsidiary, have embarked on joint development of next-generation smart electric vehicles, with each side investing more than a hundred people in its R&D team.

In response, GAC AION said, “Huawei is our strategic partner, and we have been jointly developing new technologies since 2019.” Huawei responded that they the company provides accessories and technologies to GAC AION.”
