Asia Tech Wire (Aug 20) -- Google has announced that the Google Play Security Reward program will stop accepting new reports on August 31, 2024.

The company will process all submitted reports before the program's official termination on September 30, and final reward decisions will be made before then.

The Google program is designed to discover and reduce vulnerabilities in apps on Google Play, ensuring the security of Android users, developers and the Google Play ecosystem.
