Goldman Sachs: global chip shortage to gradually ease in the second half of the year

Andrew Tilton, Goldman Sachs's chief Asia economist, said that the supply chain disruptions caused by the global chip shortage may soon pass.

Goldman Sachs analysts believe that the current period may be at its worst, with downstream industries such as automobiles now being hit the hardest. However, the situation will gradually ease in the second half of this year.
