Asian Tech Press (OCT 28) -- General Motors has announced its plans to deploy electric vehicle charging piles. According to the plan, it will install 40,000 new charging piles in the United States and Canada.
From the announcement on the official website, it appears that this new GM electric vehicle charging stake expansion plan is part of GM's newly announced $750 million charging infrastructure investment that will begin next year.
GM will work with dealers to install charging piles in their areas, including workplaces, multi-unit residences, entertainment venues, universities, etc. The charging piles they install will be available to all electric vehicles.
