Asian Tech Press (Mar. 3) -- Former OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei plans to launch his first own-brand smartphone next month, after going into business for himself.

Previously, Carl Pei mostly appeared in front of the media as co-founder of OnePlus and OnePlus overseas spokesperson. After leaving Chinese smartphone company OnePlus, Carl Pei founded his own technology brand "Nothing", and launched a wireless headset with a nice design.

It's rumored that Carl Pei showed Qualcomm a prototype that has been in development for more than a year at the MWC 2022 in Barcelona this week.

The brand's official Twitter account seems to have already started warming up for the new product, as they recently posted statements such as "March is going to be fun."
