Asia Tech Wire (Oct 18) -- David Deng Pan, former managing director of Goldman Sachs (Asia) LLC, has joined Chinese electric vehicle startup Hozon New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd, commonly known as Neta Auto, according to Chinese media outlet Jiemian.
He has officially assumed his new role, appearing in executive information as vice president of Neta Auto and representing the company at analyst conferences.
Pan worked at Goldman Sachs for nine years, where he was primarily responsible for the firm's investment banking business, focusing on emerging industrial sub-sectors such as automotive technology, transportation and logistics, and aviation technology.
He also led the formation of the joint venture between CARIAD, a software company of the Volkswagen Group, and Horizon Robotics, a Chinese self-driving computing solutions company.
