Asian Tech Press (Dec 07) -- At an investor conference, Lisa Drake, chief operating officer of Ford Motor Company, said that Ford will maintain cooperation with five battery suppliers, including CATL, BYD, SK, LG Energy Solution, and Panasonic.

Ford China executives have since confirmed that CATL is already supplying to Ford.

According to SNE Research, a South Korean market research firm, CATL topped the list of installed power battery capacity in October with 8.9GWh and a market share of 34.0%.
