It’s rumored that FAW Mazda would be dissolved, merging into Changan Automobile.

Today, there are media reports that three Chinese automobile manufacturers, FAW Group, Mazda and Changan Automobile, are in talks with the business of the Mazda brand.

The three parties talk about the business of the Mazda brand, which is now managed by FAW Mazda Motor Sales Co. Ltd., and plan to merge into Changan Mazda, a subsidiary of Changan Automobile.

In response to it, a responsible person of FAW Mazda said in an interview with reporters, “At present, we have not received the relevant information.”

The person in charge of Changan Automobile also said it had “no knowledge” of the matter at that time.
