Asian Tech Press (Nov 11) -- Electric vehicle startup Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc ("FF") announced that the Company received a Certificate of Occupancy ("COO") for the main production plant at the Hanford facility from the Mayor of Hanford, California Francisco Ramirez himself. The facility will be used for the production of the final batch of FF 91 pre-production vehicles.

"Receiving the COO is an essential step in the production roadmap for FF's flagship electric vehicle, the FF 91, and the second milestone completed at the Hanford facility," said Matt Tall, FF Vice President of Manufacturing. " We are focusing on ensuring that we complete all manufacturing milestones on time to ensure that the Hanford facility is ready to deliver FF 91 in mass production by July 2022. "

The COO acquisition allows FF to produce more pre-production vehicles and conduct final testing and validation before mass production deliveries. At the same time, FF is also increasing hiring efforts at the Hanford plant and in other functions such as engineering, supply chain, design, marketing, branding, sales and other areas.
